Concept of Alpha One FOO/Flight Dispatcher Recurrent Training Programme is designed to assure continued competence of the flight dispatch personnel with focus on essential profession requirements and latest developments in the aviation industry relevant for their position.
Over the period of 3 years, flight dispatchers will revisit all key areas of competence and will, in addition, receive training in mandatory subjects such as SMS, Emergency Response and Dangerous Goods Awareness on a yearly basis.
While for individual students and smaller organisations attending the scheduled Alpha One recurrent training courses is the most effective option, larger organisations can benefit from tailored recurrent courses where dates, groups and subjects can be adapted to your organisation needs.

Description:
Advanced Flight Dispatch Techniques training is a logical step forward once the candidate acquires initial Flight Operations Officer qualification and gains initial experience in operations environment.
Programme consists of 24 instruction/training hours and is focused on theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to more complex flight dispatch tasks typically performed by experienced, senior Flight Operations Officers. A recommended entry level for students in Advanced Flight Dispatch Techniques Course is successfully completed initial FOO training or at least 3 years of active practical experience in flight dispatch/operations control department.
Advanced Flight Dispatch Techniques Course will expose the students to the more complex flight dispatch cases and situations (DPP/Re-clearance planning, isolated destinations, optimisations), provide in-depth understanding of international operations, EDTO (ETOPS) flight planning and flight monitoring/inflight assistance, as well as latest industry standards in CNS/ATM and flight economy management.
